Backwater Ripples Kumarakom

Check in was quick in spite of it being during rush hour. Fortunately, I got an upgrade and was given a cottage. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good enough. In the evening, complimentary tea and coffee along with snacks of the day were served. I would like to compliment the chef for making the food super tasty. Surrounding was so beautiful and gardens well maintained.There is an activity centre, library, gym,pool, cycling etc. Guests are given a free boat ride too. Thoroughly enjoyed. To sum it up it was Serene and Peaceful!!!🥰

A truly scenic and beautiful setting for the property. We were greeted by views of the beautiful Vembanad Lake as we got there, and the sunset views from here are truly stunning. Our room had a small sit out area and in the early hours of the morning, you could see the fishing boats go out, hear the birdsong and gaze at the pretty lotus bloom. The poolside by sunset was another beautiful experience for us, with some live music by the lakeside. The live musicians also play on the boat ride that the property offers complimentary to guests - yet another memorable experience! Wanted to add a special note about the staff - they were extremely hospitable and helpful, during my stay I had an insect bite which led to allergic dermatitis and needed medical attention. They suggested a local health centre and promptly arranged transport to get us there (might I add my experience of the local clinic and the support I got from the medical staff was beyond exceptional and could use a separate review!) Another special shoutout to the staff - we had an early morning checkout and they packed us a hearty breakfast at 6:30 in the morning for our journey onward. Thank you for being so sweet and caring during our stay.

Words fall short to describe the experience; it's something you have to feel for yourself. The Ayurvedic massage was yet another highlight—deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. The swimming pool and the breathtaking views of the backwaters added to the magic, making it a perfect blend of luxury and nature. I’ve stayed in renowned 5-star chains like Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Marriott, but Backwater Ripples stands out with its soulful charm and unmatched service. It’s not just a stay—it’s an experience.

Superb location, superb room with excellent amenities. Great bed , superb cleanliness About Service - really great. Testy and veriety of breakfast which is plus point. They given me free boat service, evening special Free snacks and tea which is at the lake side. All are really nice.on first day .

We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The place is truly beautiful, very clean, and extremely hygienic. The staff are highly cooperative, always ready to help with a smile, which made our experience even better. The food served here is delicious, and there are plenty of great facilities to enjoy throughout the stay. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.
